  1. Re: Advice needed on maintenance post smoke damage

I just got some bad news about the situation...

Firemen still won't let us walk freely into the building, and it may take days (or even weeks) before we can even start the general cleaning process...
  2. Advice needed on maintenance post smoke damage

    Hello there,
The old building next door to one of our location was destroyed by a fire. We were lucky enough that the fire didn't spread to our own building, but there was a lot of smoke, and it...
  3. Re: Sharp MX-5071 authentication/user codes with the same #

So the inner system between the 2 machines are definitely not the same: the imported file type is compatible (which is lucky!), but its content is not treated the same way, as the 5071 sees the...
  4. Re: Sharp MX-5071 authentication/user codes with the same #

Were the accounts created manually on the new unit, or did you load the imported file from the previous model? I don't know if it's the same file type.

I would also suggest the client to change...

But they do! You can't change the toner on MX5070N & MX5070V otherwise...

    Re: MX5070 add toner alerts

I very rarely get toner empty alerts on this model, mostly just when it happens in absence of anyone knowledgeable to switch the cartridge in a timely fashion (vacation time or COVID closure). At...
  7. Re: Sharp MX-4070 unable to access address book via the web interface

I've had this tabs "problem" using Firefox on a MX-5070V, while our MX-5070N show just like they should. I know which tabs are which, so I don't mind for this one machine, but if it bothered me...
  8. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

Thank you for this reply: that helped to check out a part of the issue. Basic information in a straight answer is always welcome.
  9. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

If senior techs can't read carefully a problem description, nor understand the reasons why a function is needed on a copier (therefore offering unrelated advices that doesn't address the issue at...
  10. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

Thank you for your feedback on this. This is the most relevant information about this problem I've read here! Some others just didn't read my problem description, or didn't care about why I...
  11. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

Then you are of no help here. You do not know what or why we need it for, but only write about your point of view...
  12. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

What are you talking about?!? I am the client!
You're missing the point entirely, about our need of the USB functions on copier... It's easy, that's all.
  13. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

I do it, and many other people do it too. It way faster and easier than going through a computer when the file is ready to print as is. Circumstances do not always permit the use of a computer when...
  14. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

The Lexar products in my hand states "USB 3.1 (Gen 1) compatible; backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices".
Since the copiers are 2.0 devices, they should recognise the inserted flash...
  15. Re: Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

Of course, but shouldn't the USB stick be recognised anyway, and work as a 2.0? This is a genuine Lexar product I'm talking about, not a chinese copy. This is going to be a big problem in the...
  16. Printing from/saving to USB key 3.0 on MX565 & MX5070

I recently noticed a problem on the MX-565 & MX-5070 type of copiers while trying to print a PDF file from a USB key. The key does work on my recent work computer, as I am able to put files on it,...
  17. Re: Can't import CSV files on MX-5070N: c:/fakepath/ instead of real file location!

After some more manipulations between copiers, I noticed that I can add emails through the import of CSV files, but it will not delete or modify those already in place if the new file doesn't have...
  18. Re: Can't import CSV files on MX-5070N: c:/fakepath/ instead of real file location!

I've even tried importing directly on the copier this morning, using a USB key, but it didn't work either... Something clearly isn't right!
I'm logged as an admin when doing this, of...
  19. Re: Can't import CSV files on MX-5070N: c:/fakepath/ instead of real file location!

The system doesn't permit typing, only browsing.
  20. Re: Can't import CSV files on MX-5070N: c:/fakepath/ instead of real file location!

Well, if it's normal, how come I can't import the file? The next screen shows no add, erase, modification or error...
  21. Can't import CSV files on MX-5070N: c:/fakepath/ instead of real file location!

    Hello,

While trying to transfer a CSV file from one copier to another (something I have done previously without problem), I now notice it's not possible because the file path I want to import...
  22. [Misc] Re: Transfering emails between different SHARP copiers (MX-M565N/MX-5070N): .BIN VS .

    Thank you.
Do you have a link for that website, or the name of the software? I have no idea where to look for, since "Sharp tech site" doesn't help much on Google...
  23. [Misc] Transfering emails between different SHARP copiers (MX-M565N/MX-5070N): .BIN VS .CSV

    Hello there!
Is there a simple way to transfer email adresses in bulk between different generations of SHARP copiers? We have 4 MX-5070 type and 2 older MX-M565 type in our place: the newer ones...

Re: MX-5070N User Count print out

Since nobody seems to have an idea about how to solve this minor problem, I guess I'll leave the powers that be deal with the cumbersome file themselves if they really want to extract the data...
