thanks yes all 4 devs new and 4 drums but still same very weird fault as i said turn mc of on ie reboot image is perfect try and do a run a no go checked all conectors will try hvt

have a c258 first print out demo page or test copy is fine, after a run about 10 mc starts haveing yell wash in background and yell dev is the depleated tottaly empty
any ideas

can i ask where you bought drum chip adapter from please

ssd is the same you just need to fit but reload firmware for that mc done it few times now no problem

hi how things at canon these days. i miss the old days of the white house training etc and all the old dealer techs. getting old now even i will be out about 2 years to go

its in the manual do full lot either 1 and 7 fixed ip or 2 and 8 full format and full firmware

the 5002 code is wrong hard drive fitted canon are very specific on hdd types plus they have bios file from canon when installed to start service support tool the 4000 code is also saying wrong...

they now use charge rollers and colour ones are different to blk so wont work konica never sold any colour drums so changed the charege rollers so mc knows diff between colour and blk
