Right under the Output method window in Printing Defaults you will see a button that says "user authentication/account track" When you click it, a pop up will allow you to enter the pertinent...
Is the offending machine by chance set up for user authentication? If so, you will either need to add the access code to the driver, or else enable "print without authentication" on on the machine.
We are in house techs for a large school district here. For setting up teachers, we always set them up for secure print. When we install the driver, we set the output method to secure print using...
Maybe experiment with it? Take out a measured amount of toner (say 100 grams) and dispense it into a small plastic cup. Then run a magnet through it repeatedly until you no longer get any iron oxide...
The toner tube is probably clogged. The system to add toner is pretty weak. Remove the toner mechanism in the front and make sure there are no magenta rocks in it.
Yeah, all those settings are only there to make it look to the customer that you are trying to make it work. VOIP sucks ass for fax.
Tell them to get out of the 90's.
Look in the back and make sure the spring terminals for the coronas aren't bent or distorted. Have you tried swapping the magenta drum with the cyan or yellow to see if the problem moves with it?...
That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for your time anyway.
Does this method work on Production Machines? Particularly a C14000? I can't seem get the reset screen on production machines using the Stop ->Clear method from the input password screen. Mind you I...
Just spit balling if you will. Tested the method on a retired pro 1100 we have here, which is around the same vintage. Did not work. I will contact Jotunn. Thanks. Forgot about his thread.
Do you know if this would work on a C14000?
Anyone have the service manual for an Epson P8000 plotter they would be willing to share?
Thanks
We have a lot of trouble with that when teachers try to print PDF's directly from web pages. I suggest to them to select "save to pdf" as a print option for troublesome documents. Then open that...
Hey Mike, I was able to look further into this and M11 drives the conveyance rollers on the vertical conveyance unit. This is the unit on the lower right side of the main body that conveys the paper...
You can use regular setting powder or yellow toner from another machine that doesn't have carrier mixed in.
If you are replacing the belt cleaning unit, there will most likely already be enough...
I don't see anyone going through the trouble of rolling back meters on a machine with 25K on it (the estimate from the data you provided). More likely, it is the drum distance, not the click count,...
The NVRAM holds all the critical and sensitive information of the machine it comes with. Meters and such. If they fail, you need Konica support to change it.
Even then, it may never be the same...
Sounds like your NVRAM may have taken a hit.
Not sure what's going on with ACM lately. They no longer carry production Konica toner any more either. I'm lucky enough to only be 20 minutes away from the Corona location but stock has been limited.
I have an FS-532 here but it doesn't have the SD or Booklet option if you are interested. Pulled from recently (yesterday) retired 951.
I have Blackcat's test charts saved to a USB drive as well. They are indispensable for isolating image quality issues!!!
Assuming all OEM toners, drums, and developers in the machine?
Step 1. Make sure the paper settings are correct for the media. (Coated Gloss, Coated Matte, Plain, paper weight, etc.)
Step 2 Run...
Got it!! Thanks so much!!
Anyone able to share a Ricoh IM550 service and parts manual?
Thanks in advance.
