firmware is up to date? iphone is up to date? iphones don't play nice with copiers. androids seem to work no problem. download the ricoh app from the apple store. if that doesn't work, then just go...
and what have you done to try to fix it?
sorry let me clarify... is the firmware up to date?
whenever i setup scanning on a ricoh. i either access the address book or set up the email server settings. both are via the web interface.
have you checked the connection between the two?
patch cable doesn't require the modem. all you are doing is hooking the patch cable from the pc directly into the copier. the file would already be on the PC, and transfer it.
bet it's not a ricoh toner?
a quick google search takes you to the HP website, and shows possible fixes.
bat hit the nail on the head. this end user, with this issue, needs to call in a trained tech. according to the error in the service manual the things that could be causing the problem, joe blow...
to be honest, if you don't already have a service manual. you should call a trained tech for this copier. this model is one step below the production model. that error points to an issue that isn't a...
does the paper settings match in all trays?
those are actual kyocera toners correct?
a few will let you set the scan to folder as the default. but from what i have seen, very few. i always try to tell my customers you have to hit that drop down, if you wanna scan to PC.
ok i am trying to wing it on the language thing on the photos. but it looks like you have scan to email selected, but you are trying to scan to a folder? you have to select the drop down and select...
you could always reach out to ricoh or efi fiery for assistance.
aneursym, thanks for everything. good luck with the move to the new stuff. i hope all goes well as planned.
using kyocera toner?
google the issue you are having. you will usually find a fix that way.
actually that's pretty cheap. usually you are looking at $1000+ for a main. kit for copiers. not saying that one would cost that much but yeah.
most new laser copiers, no matter the brand, are gonna have somewhat of a burnt smell coming from the fuser. this is due to the fact that the fuser heats up so much during the copy process.
google shows that being a redrive assy.
just trying to go off of memory here. on the adf itself where you lay the paper. kyocera had sensors there. and per those sensors being covered or no covered it knew what size your paper was. i know...
i just downloaded the parts manual from ricoh. looks like the latest was from dec. of last year. and i agree with everyone else. i am not seeing where you can order just the transfer belt itself....
the part # that you gave. in the parts manual it is labeled as a plate: wire-2. i don't believe that is what you are looking for. as it only appears to be a plate/cover?
