I have a Versant 80 with a Fiery 80EX-i (the embedded one), and the Fiery will not start up.
(When I connect a display to the Fiery I see that I have disk error)

Does someone have system...

It was broken in one of the upper connection between machine and FWA,
like someone has forgot to unplug before taking the machine apart.

This was broken wire who caused all this.

Yes we have measured the 220v and that is OK

What we have done so far
- Checked all connectors
- Swapped the Low voltage supply 1 and 2
- Checked all the connectors.
- Checked all fuses that we saw

- Display is dead
- no lights on the ESS board
- no fans
- no sign of live unless the small green light next to the display on FWA

I was relocating my Xerox V2100, and now the machine is not powering up.
The green press status light is on, but the initial display is not turning on.

I do have FFPS 8.0 sp2 Dc 770 full software image 301E63272, that is FreeFlow 8.0 for Xerox 770.
But this is useless unless you have valid license

We did try alcohol, no luck

We did look at this though a eye loupe. Crisp text (very small dots)

and yes, there is no way of the laser doing this

1) This text is from earlier job wich was printed on 170 gr. UPM coated paper
2) All genuine parts and toner
3) No label has ever gone though this machine

I got a strange problem, it seem that somehow a part of text got stuck on the IBT belt and you can't wipe it off. (see image)
The text is very sharp and it look like it is written by laser....

It seems like you are trying to connect a display or mouse without the pro dongle

Do this:
Start up without display and mouse
Connect to the rip with RDC
make your adjustments

I dont belive that you need the system disks, I don't have them and I never had them.

The restriping is only for the image disk (I belive) the system and all the backup info
is on...

Restriping is the correct way, then do a restore.

after cleaning the machine inside and out, and clean contacts ( thanks xcopytech) the machines start working.

I have tried to swap the drums, and replace hot unit. This came over night, no paper jam or any thing involved.
