Over two years ago we had the same issue. We changed TB Trommel and IDC sensor. There was nothing to do. We have chandöged the C558 with another one.

Yes. You had to activate User Authentication with the Public User. Public user without login. You must set that Public User can copy only BW.

There is a Konica advice. You had to put longer sheet/guide in ADF. Itry to find it and Iwill send it.
