I am reading up on SMB threads and issues.

Step1: Scan user account created (administrative rights; password; etc.)
Step 2: "SCANS" FOLDER CREATED: (on desktop; properties, advanced, shared, permissions, added, locations, SCANS...

How embarrassing!!! Oh well. I learned a lot about this printer... thank you!

I am going to try one more time - with picture. I have tried all I could think of, and suggested, including adding new HDD. Here is a pic of the problem. When I go to Scanner - Email and Folder...

If I buy an HDD, say from you, would that fix the problem?

No error message. Prior to issue, only scan option via USB.

Machine has HDD - According to Slim - there is a dealer in Merced. I will wait for his reply to one. I called around, but they try to sell me a machine instead of wanting to fix mine - Modesto area....
