When I have one that just won't work, I send out this batch. Most of the time...
Got a call from a customer, having printing issues with an MFP. (elementary school).
Said they had an "out of control" student that jumped onto the machine and "started pulling
wires out of the...
Might tick off a customer having to wait, but, you could also try setting the energy save back to default, 1 minute and see if that helps.
I've talked to other techs around the country. It's not just you.
The 45's seem to last a bit longer. Only thing I can think of is
maybe they sit too long between copy jobs and they just don't...
As a last resort, you could always send it to Hytec, and have them repair it. Cheaper than a new one.
This was on the last monthly service meeting. Don't know if it will help, but probably couldn't hurt.

I thought about this, but it is a school and I think most of the users are women, which I couldn't see them removing the fuser.
But, they may have a "Rosie the Riveter" one.
I forgot to mention, it did it on letter-r and all trays. ;)
Here's one that might help you not fall down the rabbit hole.
Tech dispatched to a "wrinkles" call on an 8518. on letter, the upper left corner was a sharp fold, print was in the fold
So it...
Also, run internal prints and see if the CQ is the same.
If copying looks DIFFERENT than printing, given this is an older 05 series, pull the cover off the system board
and see how much dust is...
I guess the 25/35's need it but the 45's are fast enough it doesn't matter. ;)
Other than forgetting to remove them when you have a 25/35 speed machine when you install a bridge unit. LOL

Can you screen shot the display so I can see what it is saying?
Brand new, CD64. 03 mode worked both ways.
Tried running the sys/logic tool, popped up USB:NG. Found they had swapped the USB connections at the factory
on the system board.
Sys board passed,...
Just in case someone has replace, or, reseated the connections on the system board, make sure the two USB connections on the
system board are in the proper place. I had one once, FROM THE FACTORY,...
I cannot, and won't supply the firmware, but, if you downloaded the correct firmware from the Toshiba site in your country, it's simply
a matter of unzipping the file onto a thumb drive that is...
Oh the stories...I could write a book after 43+ years in this mess.
My first one was a b&w sharp SF-810 in Marshall Mo. I had been in this about a week, ya know back in the day it was OJT. ...
Hey, thought you might want a tweaked photo of that. I pulled a bit more detail out of the
shadows & killed down the noise a bit, then rotated it so when one of my techs looked at it,
his head...
Been in the field since October. Tech said it would say finisher not recognized. Brought the finisher in to the office,
couldn't see anything obvious. Tech sent the board to hitech for warranty...
Here's a screenshot from Prolibro...the circled area is the photo that
doesn't show up but did in Eureka. (I'm getting this 3rd hand from the
field tech) It is a stand alone Ex-i280

Tech just called me. Has a fiery that needs to be "reset"
In prolibro, tech tip 1423516, explains it, but the picture on
what to setup is not shown. There is an icon but no photo.
If anyone can...
I got in trouble once about a dozen years ago from a customer who was slamming the door on a 5540. The next time I got a call, I waited until 4pm to respond
because I knew what they had done....
From what he told me, EXACTLY!
Passing this along from one of my field techs.
Only jams when duplexing obviously, E580. Ran the input/output for the sensor, checked
ok. The code says the TRAIL edge isn't clearing the...
Couple things. Any chance the clips that hold the mirrors have popped loose?
Next, double check between the lens & the CCD element for any dust. If the environment
is "dusty" sometimes dust can...
