[Error Code] Re: H5-01 on MX-M4071

I forgot to mention that I cleaned the contacts and even bought the insanely expensive cleaning swabs from sharp. This helped with the other random fuser errors, but this H5-01 persists

    [Error Code] H5-01 on MX-M4071

I am very puzzled about this one. I am getting H5-01 errors on several M4071s. Usually I get this code after 5 jams in the fuser, but with these machines I am not getting any jam and the 23-2 shows...

    [Misc] MX-6070 and generic toner

My company has started to use generic toners on our fleet of MX-4070 and MX-6070 MFP's. The toners work fine on the 4070's but on the 6070 when I put in a generic toner the machine will kick out all...

    Re: "fuser"

Usually when it just says "Fuser" it means it is detecting a fuser wrap jam, meaning it thinks there is a paper wrapped around one of the fuser rollers. you can know for sure by going to sim 22-4 to...
  5. [Misc] M632Z MFP Showing ADF is up when closed

I have a customer with an M632z that has a broken adf closed sensor flag, so it is showing the ADF is open even when closed. The problem is that i can't find a part number. according to the manual I...
  6. Re: MX-4071 random prints without anyone printing

We have had this too. As mentioned before it is a vulnerability scan run by the network administrators. We fixed this by turning off port 9100 and set the drivers to lpr printing.

    Re: Sharp MX-6070 POD1_N

The POD1 sensor is the fuser exit sensor right above the fuser rollers. It is the one you have to unplug when you take the top cover off the fuser. POD1_N means the paper is not reaching this sensor....
  8. Re: HP DesignJet T830 - not detecting paper

I have a T830 doing this. I have replaced the service station and the line sensor, and an hour later it went back to not loading paper. Is there a calibration I need to do after these replacements?...

    Re: MX touchscreen issue

This is exactly right. I have seen this many times. If is still acts up after cleaning then you need to replace the digitizer, which is the glass part on top of the LCD screen.
  10. Re: Trying to get old Sharp AR-M355N working with Win 10.

Open the port settings on the driver and make sure the port is set to LPR and not 9500. Give it a Que name and check the byte counting enabled box

Re: Sharp MX 4101N Will not boot up

I hope you remembered to swap the EEPROM when you changed boards. However, that would give you an error, not a black screen. I would start with the SD card which holds the boot firmware. If that is...

    Re: Fiery PE-10 MX-6500N

Make sure the cable is connected to the correct port on the Fiery. There are 2 ports it can connect to, and if connected to the wrong one it will give this message.

Re: Sharp MX C301 issues help

There is a small tie wrap just above the connector holding the harness together. If you grab the cable by that tie wrap and pull, the connector will come out with no problem

    Re: MX-3060 N without function

Did you swap the EEPROM? If the EEPROM doesn't match the machine it will give you an error. You need to take the chip off the old board and put it on the new one

    Re: MX-4141N question

I would start with the fuser drive 2 step gear in the fuser unit, those strip out all the time. If you found a lot of brown dust on the rear frame under the fuser, then that would be it. For the 2nd...
  17. [Misc] Re: Got a Sharp MX-4141N at auction, need a little help with putting it back into ser

Glad to hear it! No chemicals are needed, just clean them with a lint-free cloth or towel. As copiertec said, this will get you by for a while, but eventually you will need to replace them using the...

    Re: Flaring blacks MX-3070

On some of the lower end HP desktops (LJ3035 especially) I would cut a little off the end of the cable. This saved me many times
  19. [Misc] Re: Got a Sharp MX-4141N at auction, need a little help with putting it back into ser

This has the watermark firmware and the e-manual along with the most recent device firmware. I'll leave this active for a few days. Good luck! Virgo_2_E-Manual (2).zip - Google Drive
  20. [Misc] Re: Got a Sharp MX-4141N at auction, need a little help with putting it back into ser

    1. The problem is the drum blades. You need to remove the drums and clean the blades or replace them.

2.You cannot get rid of the error code without reinstalling the watermark firmware. You will...

    [Misc] MX-607FB vs MX-608FB

On a MX-4070 fuser, I'm wondering if the MX-608FB fuser belt made for the MX-6070 can be used in the 4070 fuser. Has anyone done this? The belt unit will fit but will it affect print quality or...
  22. Re: MX-4071 crashes when waking from sleep mode

If you have it set for a power off/on schedule, make sure the time is set correctly. If it is off by 12 hours then it will do that.
