I am trying to upload pictures but the attachment tool is giving me hell. I'll post some as soon as I can!
We have had this machine sitting in our show room and are not too familiar working on Epson machines. We printed off some test pages and are getting some horizontal lines across the pages and on the...
You went into the system setting -> security security settings -> and ran the end of lease option? If that didn't work you could probably do a HDD format and that would clear all previous information...
I like the idea of checking for this. I've had all kinds of issues related to staples or paperclips making their way onto the boards. Thankfully that's something that is very easy to check.
Best...
If none of what is stated above resolves the issue you can slightly raise the fuser temperature in sims. I would only do that as a last resort though.
Best of luck
I second this ^^^ this sounds like it should fix it.
We made sure all ports are correctly plugged in, we have reloaded Fiery system software, gone through and redownloaded all patches and updates for the Fiery, updated for Windows (not Windows 10) and...
Where do I find what the correct port is? When I looked on the back of the PE10 the only different port options there are, are for USBs. Everything else is plugged into the only port that will fit...
We have a PE-10 that has been sitting in our warehouse for a handful of years now. We recently received a MX-6500N back from a customer who was leasing it from us and we are setting it up in our...
F3-22 is a Tray 1 code. Are you sure it's a Tray 2 issue? Like stated above, did you add paper? Reseating the connector is also definitely a good idea.
When having build up issues on these fusers and the M5050 MFPs I have increased the temperature +5 across the board. These fusers rely on high temps to fuse *all* the toner to the page, requiring...
I was just about to mention that when I have excessive build up on your fusers for these and the M5050 series machines I increase the temperatures +5 across the board and the issue usually self...
Is there anyway to tell what finishers and accessories a machine has with MICAS? Often we have a call with a code that points towards a finisher or accessory and the code is too generalized for us to...
Do you not have access to sharp-start? You can access the firmware library there. If not, email me at zach@hoglandcopiers.com and I can email the file over to you.
As stated above though, I...
One thing I've learned to do, just before changing the DV or DV unit is to put a little bit of toner on the mag roller and then copy a sky shot. This shakes up the density and then the sky shot adds...
A forum for folders, inserters and inserters would be awesome. An FP specific and other make specific forums.
I forgot to mention that I did adjust the pins in the connector and that cleared the code but did not fix my color quality issues. What I stated before was the fix for that.
Thanks!
What it ended up being was one of the grounding springs from the high voltage board that grounds the transfer belt. Somehow, it had come out of place during "normal" use by the customer....
I originally was put on this call for horrible print quality. The cyan is coming out at consistent half tones and the magenta coloration is correct but the front third of the page is blank folowed by...
Yeah, I don't mind the challenge either but the MFP is out of town. So each trip out, with another failed attempt at a solution was just costing us money. Definitely seemed more worth it to have our...
Headed out there one more time because my supervisor wanted to tag along. Finally came to the fact that we need to reach out to our DSS.
Thanks for yall's help
Brand new machine that popped an E7-11. We cleared it before delivery to the customer. Started call with bad copy quality issues. Cleaned the glass, mirrors, lens, LED. Issue resolved for a week....
