No I didn't try, because it's such a blatant sharp void line, that it wouldn't make sense to be the drum unit. If it was a fading void mite be drum or a part of the DU failing.
Is it a tough job? Haven't worked on one, so curious how big of a deal is it to swap them around?
Would you have a part number for the LED head?
