I have 4 printers in my office.
Any printer that passes into a quiet state makes such a sound. And that's okay.
But this printer makes the noise every 16 seconds (I checked now)

I probably did not explain the problem properly
The noise is not from the fan
When the printer is in sleep mode, the green light is on all the time "Energy Saver"
But when the printer is connected...

Can a factory reset fix the problem?

M3540D makes noise in sleep mode.
The printer constantly checks the connection to the computer. About every 2 minute green bulb signal. If I hang out the printer from the computer, the bulb is on,...
