Okey dokey, I will order up a new drum and transfer belt unit and fit as a pair, hopefully this will cure this horrible dotted line! :D

Thanks for confirming this, so what I have potentially done then, is...... fit a brand new drum unit, in which has now become faulty because the 2nd transfer belt unit has just taken it out again....

I've got a TA351ci which is intermittently showing No paper in cassette 1 message on screen, usually when the paper in the tray gets low.
I have tried stretching out of the spring....

It's fairly easy to get to, best if you take the conveying unit off so you got more room to play with.

The solenoid sits directly under the ID sensor Assy and to get to it you want to take out...

Turns out the manual I was using was 4 versions too old!

Error 33 exists on the newer version and it relates to the ID Sensor Solenoid getting stuck.

After a clean it was working once more :)...
