first of all, check if the finisher model is the one for e2500c (MJ1027, MJ1028, MJ1029). then, go to the machine's Top Access and check if there is a finisher installed.

no windows 7 driver for ebridge 1 models, else use like what emujo said, the universal printer driver

Get the latest printer driver for the windows 7 pc, latest firmware addresses this issue

3511 is using GD1150
it's incompatible to use for the other

yea, when the cover is not adjusted properly, the scanner will reflect a dark area, thus the black line.

nothing wrong with the printer enable stick, but just curious, why not use Network Printing?

you can try re-adjusting the white cover under the RADF.
remove it from the RADF, then place it on the Platten glass, keeping it to the top left corner, then close the RADF
