if it prints fine, i think it's not a toner pump problem, try to replace toner bottle with another new one if it's not recognized, it should be the RFID board.

Pull out the laser unit, disassemble it, clean inside and mirror, blower it, take out the LD board you will find a sticker covering a lense inside clean it, perform SP 2-109 to adjust the laser...

Have you tried to clear the memory?
Make sure to print out non default programs before memory clear
