Knowing Kon/Min the footprint will be the same. Hopefully these new models have all the prior "i" series issues worked out.

You can use same orange rollers on pick-up, feed & sep. But I use the "ribbed / grooved" roller for pick-up.
I believe there was a bulletin to start using the ribbed roller for all their models...
I was going to suggest banner feature with Konica Minolta copiers but see you need 2400mm long. Kon/Min can only feed 457mm to 1200mm through the manual feed tray on side. You have to use folded...
Thanks for the replies. I have the manual and it shows how to remove the film assembly but not to change just the film. I've changed fixing film in many older / smaller canon models & HP printer and...
Have a customer with torn film. Only 60k meter. I see the film is sold separately to replace just the film. Would like to try this as new fixing units are $700+
Has anyone had good results with...
Agree with Gab, repeat image / ghosting is caused by drum or fuser.
Sorry was thinking it was a C287 with transfer belt.
You didn't mention if you changed the transfer belt unless I missed it. Really the only thing left. I recently had one with first page defect and it was transfer belt.
By the way this 7 series was...
No, never had any prison accounts. But I've had plenty of other accounts with stupid end users. Teachers & car salesmen are still top of my list.
That's a tough question with what machine will work in a school! I work on Kon Min but still don't have enough confidence to recommend the "i" series. But have heard the Kon Min B&W production models...
You can find used Fiery's for under $500. But keep in mind to calibrate correctly you will still need a densitometer. If you don't need precise colors the calibration in the Fiery should be good...
Probably restarting with "internal error". Good advice from Synthohol to see what the "hidden" error code is.
Don't have much experience with Fiery's as Synthohol but have found there isn't much difference in print quality. Don't think it's worth $4000+ when adding to a new machine. Plus to setup & calibrate...
The best way to speed up is throw in trash and buy new printer! Seriously the CP series are 15+ yrs old and reason printing slow is most likely no updated drivers available for newer operating...
Are you a technician or end user? It is very easy to remove and a tech would know this. Anyway I have attached FS-529 installation instructions, just reverse steps to remove.
You have been...
In service mode, Image process adjustment, TCR Toner Supply
What about level history in service mode for black? If low then image unit not getting toner.
When you said it was low on toner for awhile it may have depleted the developer in image unit starving...
KMFLT3CH is correct I was thinking of DC power supply behind side plate.
Make a small donation to this website and myself or someone will send you the manual.
Print head is behind that big metal plate on side. Plus some connectors have to be unplugged from board in back of machine.
Step by step instructions are in manual starting on page G-17.
FYI I...
What have you done so far? Basic things like clean the print heads, print test pages in service mode, etc etc?
What is life of black image unit? What is the level history 1 under state...
Sounds like the home sensor or board. I never liked those hole punch units in the bigger finishers. They always had issues going all the way back to the Di series. Of course Kon/Min stayed with this...
The other poster is correct check that the levers on the front wheels are in the up position and remove finisher. If all else fails you can remove 4 clips (2 front, 2 rear) that hold copier to base,...
ha-ha. I hear you brother with my old eyes it is hard to see that small pic. Agree it could be developer related, especially since the black drum & trans belt have been repalced.
Wouldn't toner on laser glass cause white voids?
