One of my lease return dealers has a boat load of XC4140's with around 100k. Didn't these have fuser issues?
In your opinion what is the over all best desktop color Lexmark previously made. I don't have a lot of experience with these and need a somewhat cheap desktop color for a customer. It has to be a...
You are correct Dickie about the edge of the paper showing the line. The image is reduced from lead to trail and not front to rear. Only when using ADF, not printing or laying original on glass....
I spoke with Brother and the only fix is to replace the ADF. Fortunately, it only costs $81 bucks. When I receive the ADF and install it, I will let you know if it resolves the issue. It's a shame...
No, it is not the slit glass! Yes the firmware is up to date. It only has a line when using the ADF and does not do it when placed on the glass. On the attachment, I messed up and put it in backwards...
Yes, about 300. I place a letter size paper on lead edge of platen glass about 2 inches to keep from jamming when running sky shots.
I had to run several hundred sky shots but it finally replenished the magenta toner (3505AC) using K developer in the magenta developer unit. I don't see an issue with doing this. After running the...

Hmm....Who am I going to listen too!?
These LCC feed units are the exact same feed units as in a Ricoh, so I am very familiar with this. On the feed roller shaft you will want to scuff up the shaft a little for the one way bearing to...
Exactly! I started this company up selling rebuilt Ricoh's on Craigs List, so some of my customers where 4 to 5 hours away. They were told at the time of sale to have the local service rep service...
Great stuff! Reminds me of Goose's Guide. Thank you blackcat!
Sure! Keep'em coming.
I'm asking my tech's and would like everyone's option on the most common issues they see in the field with these machines (5005ac/5015ac) series. Just gathering info to be more proficient. I switched...
Thank you all for the reply's! TONER ROCKS!!!! Sub hopper was bound up with a toner rock the size of a large pea not letting the toner paddle turn. Thus, stripping out the inside of the large drive...
I'm heading out to this machine tomorrow having only worked on this machine once. A little more familiar with the 5506ac than this one. Customer has put a new OEM toner in, shows 100% while cycling...
Being somewhat new to Toshiba I was wondering what you guy's and gal's come across the most often fault wise. So far these boxes have been fantastic and have had few breakdowns because of the small...

Your thoughts on these so far? Do you like them and are they performing well. Hard to get a base line when you only have one in the field so far. Thanks!

2nd that! I have 4 at the shop and carry one in my bag. Been using one for years with long bit and love it. They used to be made by Hitachi bty so you might find a spare battery that way.

Sorry! I was concentrating on the issue. Simple fix hopefully=clean fuser entrance guides. Also check engine firmware to be at or above 1.11:03.

Being new to Toshiba.... I wanted to ask more experienced tech's what you would recommend for car stock on the newer EBN (es2505/5005 and es2515/5015) machine's besides the obvious....pm kits,feed...
I signed up several months ago with Toshiba and cannot be happier! These (black panel) EBN models are easy to work on, reliable and cheap to operate. So far service calls have been little to none!
