Basically, the toner has been completely depleted from The development unit therefore it's throws that code. The color registration cannot complete without the toner.
looks like its been awhile since anybody has replied to this. I have have similar codes and come to find out, the customer has let the toner run completly out and the developer unit is out of toner....
Those Development units are not interchangeable...if you notice when you look at the parts manual, they all have different part numbers. They come with developer already in the dev unit.
I too have had issues with that bridge Mylar, only it jams on me instead of dog ear. If its not butted up against the side of the bridge unit EXACTLY, it will give you issues
