  1. Re: Ricoh MPC4503 with Bridge Unit and SR3140 torn edge and wrinkling

Had an issues similar, same machine and finisher. I had to install tray heater, lots of curl because client refused to use decent paper. If you don't have curl probably not the issue. How about an...
  2. Re: Ricoh MPC4503 with Bridge Unit and SR3140 torn edge and wrinkling

Is there a lot of paper curl once the paper exits?

Re: Printing on label paper multiple times

We have a customer that was doing the same thing however in our case we have had 4 calls where the labels came off in the machine. The first label didn't make it far just stuck to the PTR. The second...

    Re: FW3601

Yeah I agree the top exit sucks for large print jobs and the rear bottom exit just doesn't work well at all. I have quite a few of the MPW 6700 and they are great machines and the front exit stacks...

Any of my customers who have the machine exit the rear has some sort of rack or catch system that they have constructed. I've built a couple of catch racks myself but it all depends on how much space...

Nope never. Crappy design that never really worked. The pages never stack correctly or pile up on each other.

Re: looking for more info on the mpc 305

x2 on What Zeldaman said. Usually the toner hopper. I didn't particularly care for these units but then again I don't like any small units people tend to treat them like a 60 ppm machine.

    Re: Ricoh MP C3004

I haven't had it happen yet, so not sure. I set the machines to update at 3:00 a.m. to prevent problems. We don't have any accounts that are running the machine at that time so I feel pretty safe.

Does your machine have internet access? If so you can firmware update through the application app.

    Re: SC796 on a MP C300SR

I'm guessing this is the internal finisher. These have a habit of binding up and yes I have had a motor go bad after the lift plate got bound. First suggestion is to just take it apart and make sure...

    Re: SC665-08

Had this on an 04ex. I replaced the BCU and FFC from another machine and that took care of it. Don't rule out the FFC cables I think they've had issues with these on the 04 models.
  25. Re: MP C305 - SC899 Will not go away (not connected to network).

Sorry to hear the HDD didn't work. I thought for sure that would correct the problem. Recently read somewhere (maybe here) that an ADF was causing a machine to throw 8** codes. I'll see if I can find...
