"The ink"??? Are you a technician or an end user? You should probably leave the repairs up to someone who knows what they are doing.

    [CQ] Re: MX-M364

You haven't mentioned if you have performed the 46-74 calibration yet. I would start there AFTER doing the 44-27, 44-2, 44-6, 44-26. Are they using genuine Sharp toner? On this series, I've seen IQ...
  3. Re: MX-M904 Finisher Jams in the Saddle Fold entrance area.

What is the jam code? Sharp issued a bulletin about the saddle roller sensor causing false jams, and ultimately change the sensor and mounting plate that it mounts to. It is bulletin: MFP-TB-1149
  4. Re: * Asterisk button logout Sharp Models with the 10 key pad (MX-C301W, MXM453N, etc

Maybe you can input a Program setting? I haven't done that for faxing, but you may be able to. The machines are capable of storing many Programs that retain specified settings. Just a thought.

    Re: MX6240 TB1 blade flip

Sharp had issued a bulletin back in 15' about the primary belt blade flipping. I personally do not rebuild these units anymore. It is more cost efficient to just replace the whole unit with a new...

    Re: MX4070-5070-6070 thumping from fuser

These fusers are junk, IMO. I know our company has sent in SEVERAL complaints over the last couple of years to Sharp. I feel they refuse to address any issues related to the fuser itself. Instead...
  8. [Error Code] Re: HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 color MFP M575dn error 49.38.07

    Completely uncalled for. GTFO here.
  9. Re: Sharp MX-3050V machine takes a long time to bootup.

Another +1 here. The new series of color Sharps require a very clean power source. Virtually all ground to neutral voltage needs to be eliminated. Make sure you are using a high quality surge...

    Re: MX-6070N Copy Quality

Unfortunately, from my experience with this series, the pics look normal to me. New DV, drums, mk kits should help fill them in a bit better. Make sure to do a full color calibration as well. Sharp...

    Re: New sharp colors/ mx3070 / 3071 etc

I haven't heard anything about Sharp adding web units to these fusers. It's a shame, really. The machine's aren't that bad, but the fusers just suck. I have very few that make it to a PM cycle, and I...

    Re: mx-m565n Cleaning blade flip

These felt pads go on BEFORE the blade is put in, just FYI. If you are putting them on TOP of the blade, you're doing it wrong.

    Re: mx-m565n Cleaning blade flip

The company I work for has pretty much abandoned the 560mk kits. Those cleaning blades are junk. Instead, we use the 503mk kits. The charger grid and saw tooth are the same, but you have to...

Re: MX-5070V - Air Print - User Control

As far as I know, you cannot use Airprint when account control is turned on. Airprint doesn't allow for entering credentials. However, a work around I have found is using Sharpdesk mobile. It does...

    Re: MX-5070v high pitch noise

I have also seen where the Transport drive causes issues like this too. I just had a call today, where I am ordering a new drive. I have replaced this drive on several machines in this series. The...

Re: MX4141 squeaking from web unit.

Try checking out TT-012916_2. It was a bulletin Sharp put out for the MX3140/3640 series color machines. But it deals with the same issues. When doing heavy amounts of toner coverage pages, the web...

Re: HP M451 Jam in tray 1

I had an HP M452, which is a newer model, act the exact same way. Luckily I had another 452 that ran good, but with a bad fuser. I tried a NEW Tray 2 pickup assembly; no change. Swapped boards, no...

    Re: MX-M264N SD card issue

I would also do a complete backup of address book, and device cloning before replacing. This stuff is stored on the SD card if no HDD is installed.

Re: MX-7040 transfer cleaning blade flipping

Take a look at bulletin TT-102016_1. It states which soft switches to set to add yellow toner in the 5050 through 6070 series machines. I'm not sure if the settings will be the same for the 7040, but...

[Jamming] Re: Sharp MX-4141N Phantom Paper Jam

I would look at replacing the pickup, feed, sep rollers in the ADF. Usually if they are worn out or slipping on the paper, they will give that jam code, since the paper is not reaching the first...
  21. Re: MX5141 Broadcast Scanning error only on 40+

The max capacity really shouldn't have anything to do with this. But just for fun, it's 150 pages for a Sharp MX5141. I had a similar issue on a Sharp MXM363 or a model similar to that series. The...
  22. Re: MX-C300w keeps rebooting when network cable is plugged in

This made me chuckle a bit. Yes, the IT Dept "should" be able to find a bad print job, but in my experience, most of the IT guys I deal with aren't too bright. Haha!

[Jamming] Re: HP P3015 jams on first print of the day.

What is the tray set to as far as paper size and type? I have seen on older HP's that if it is set to "ANY" on either one, they can get picky. Or, if it is set to a specific size, change it to "ANY."...

I do understand, to a point, what you mean. But, you don't have to be so rude about it. I try to help whomever needs it, regardless. Just my two cents. To each their own. Have a good day.

[Error Code] Re: Muratec MFX 2570 0B system error... 20050

Wow, such nice "techs" on this board. Ridiculous. 0B refers to a fan problem. It could be just a fan that needs replaced, or it could be the main board. Hope this is somewhat more helpful.

    Good...
