    Re: Bizhub 808

Sounds like you've done all the logical steps----- If replacing the fuser unit and fuser motor and then running the trouble reset did not fix the issue, I would suspect something is bad in the fuser...

    Re: Bizhub 368e smearing

Ditto on the transfer belt unit-----I would check the belt surface for imperfections. Fuser would be my second suspect. Inspect the ITB belt. Then, you could even inspect the ITB cleaner unit and...

A very healthy move on your part. I applaud it. The lack of reason and logic and desire to fruitlessly argue the most ridiculous points ad nauseum without any desire to listen to your carefully...

    Re: Bizhub C280 fuser belt

The formulation in the generic toners is a big culprit with symptoms like that. Stop using the compatible toners if you are using them. The modern Konica fusers have nothing like the fuser cleaning...

    Re: bizhub c350

C B0-02 code Check the FK-502 installation. If it is installed properly the fax kit may be bad. You can also disable the fax option in service mode to get rid of the error code. That dinosaur...
  6. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Ok, thanks again for all the replies guys. Closing out this thread, what finally worked was:

Change soft switch 12 to Hex 00 got us part way there------got rid of the error code at startup
    ...
  7. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Running the latest FW. Will try returning the soft sw 41 to 00 as you suggest. Emujo is correct, in the search for super low meter units those DOD machines are the ones at the wholesaler with low...
  8. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Yes I did , my friend. That indeed got rid of the C-180 error code but still have the no external server available/registered and the screen displays the buttons:

    Authentication...
  9. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Ok, turns out Emujo probably has the right idea.......... a type 3 card means this machine probably had at one time the Konica AU-211P CAC/PIV Reader. but does not now.

    Great, I have no experience...
  10. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Yes, probably the AU-201 was installed. I will try to Change soft switch 12 to Hex 00 as per tsbservice, if that does not work I will try the reset tool.
  11. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Exactly right, but having trouble finding the option to disable it in service mode and admin mode is not available. Going to try the reset tool.
  12. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

No, that's not working.....network cable was never connected.

Admin mode is what will probably allow me to get past this but access is disabled. Initializing copier and formatting hdd was what I...
  13. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Appreciate the reply, initialize all did not do anything. The initialize procedure completed normally with no error and prompted to cycle power. When we hit the access key we just get to a error...
  14. Re: Konica C284e "Preparing to connect to external server please wait"

Agreed, but there is no option to uninstall that management function choice that I can find in service mode under Stop 9 and then selecting management ------- and also admin mode is completely...

    Understood....thanks for suggesting that.
  17. Re: Konica c754e Nic no lights , won't light up when plugged in to network. No com

Thanks everyone taking the time to reply...........I'll try to initialize and follow all the advice given and if no luck....replace the mfp pcb.

When it comes to people I rely on for sound advice...
  18. Konica c754e Nic no lights , won't light up when plugged in to network. No communi

Looks like the network interface card failed. Nowadays that is part of the MFP pcb and I will need to replace the whole board. Has anybody here had those Nic's fail on the C754e series?

Re: C558 df 701 not staying up

To be very clear -tsbservice is correct, the c558 uses the DF-704 and did not come with the DF-701.
If you now have a DF-701 on that c558, then someone probably swapped it with a 4 series feeder....

Usually it is quite simple for us when we do it just with the following basic steps:

    SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com

    Enable TLS

  24. Re: High pitch whine from bizhub C308 when printing/copying

That's probably the right advice from EarthKmTech . In my experience - 9 times out of 10 with that noise it's usually the fuser unit or the fuser drive on this series.

Re: Knick on the fuder sleeve

I prefer to just replace the whole fuser and avoid the risk of something going wrong rebuilding these. But 50K is a very low click count on that fuser so , if money is an issue, they do sell...
