  1. Re: Ricoh C5110s Fiery Controller software install

    Good point.

It's been years, but I seem to recall not faring very well with the crossover method, either. It was flaky, at best.

The thumb drive approach never failed.
  2. Re: Ricoh C5110s Fiery Controller software install

If you have access to TSRC, look in the manual section for the copier. The Fiery manual will be there.

It explains the procedure quite well.

Ricoh max severances have been 26 weeks for many years now.

They added bonus weeks for the early retirement packages.

Keep in mind that if you accept the package, you would most likely not qualify for unemployment once the severance pay expires. It depends on your state, but as far as I know, most states work that...

From what my fuzzy old brain remembers, you got both PCL5 and PCL6 drivers when you downloaded the Mini driver package.

    Anyone remember the “mini driver”?

I never really used it, but it did save the day once. I had an account about 10 or 12 years ago that printed tons of pages a day from Word Perfect, and they had...

Re: MP 7001 slow print answer

If you’re using a print manager software where the jobs can be released at any connected machine (such as Equitrac or Streamline), you’re almost forced to use the universal driver.

    Keep in mind...

This one was a hit in the 70s, and is still being recorded today.

Blue Swede's remake of B.J. Thomas's "Hooked on a Feeling", much more commonly known as the
    "Ooga-Chaka" song.

    There have...

Re: any companies laying off ?

Ricoh was struggling before the pandemic, with layoffs and early retirement being common.

I can only imagine how much worse it will ultimately get.

How are the IPs currently set, DHCP or static?

If DHCP, try setting a few statically as a test.

Re: Connecting via WIFI & Enterprise WPA2

The ONLY one I ever had work well right out of the gate was in a small construction office (not a trailer).

I equate wrestling with these things with trying to push a car uphill with a rope.
