  1. Re: Xerox Altalink B8065 DADF multifeeds

Pad separation increases page separation with a stronger spring.
Roller separation increases page separation with a WEAKER spring.

    Which do you have? =^..^=
  2. Re: Xerox Altalink B8065 DADF multifeeds

Is there a DF separation adjustment? If not, I have had success installing weaker (yes, WEAKER) separation springs to increase page separation. =^..^=

Re: p3145 fuser problems out of box

    I'm surprised, frankly.

You complain about a heavy media not fusing, but will not attempt media type changes, or even figure out what media weight it is? A person with over 30 years experience...

  5. Re: BizHub7228 - Possible to turn on DCPS' Sub Power 24VDC via emulated control signa

    I created a "copier in a box" from a Sharp Tiger AR-M280.

This particular model had spare DIMM sockets on the controller allowing the copying of the firmware DIMMs. So I scrapped the engine and...

    Yes, that's my question too.

What symptoms? What are you trying to fix? You skipped over that part.

I had this happen after installing Maint Kit A in a Gemini. The primary transfer cleaner was significantly more difficult to turn on the new part. After watching the belt jump (and scratching my head...

I've seen Toshiba lasers present this way when defective. Calibrate 15 or 20 times and it looks good ... until the first time it self-calibrates.

    Re: C2950

The manual points to a communication issue between the motor control PWB and the engine PWB.

If you're not ready to go for the engine board yet, you could try the harness in-between. The manual...

This is what I was thinking about.
You wouldn't use a WSD port, right?
    Maybe a duplicate IP?

Re: p3145 fuser problems out of box

Have you tried changing to a heavier media type setting? What gsm is the "light card stock"? Does it have a gloss or texture? Have you used Plain paper? Does it fuse properly?

    Try the simple...

So you've wiped out every adjustment. What were you hoping to achieve by doing this?

I think that I'd do the image adjustments, and color calibrations. for starters.
