  1. Re: 2540c Showing 0% Toner and Asking to Install New Toner but Toner Still Full

That series was notorious for saying add toner. There was a service bulletin about that, it involved a plastic clip that was placed on the front
side of the frame that holds the toner cartridge. ...

    C8145 fax confirmation

Tech called, said the only option he found was confirmation print ON ERROR.
Customer wants a confirmation on everything.
Anyone know where that option is, or if it available?

Well, that's what happens, when you respond to a thread, before you are really awake, or have someone

    Re: 5005AC passwords

Decommission the machine. 08-8615, then once finished (not connected to the network, it will
say it failed, but will work). Reboot into 08 mode again, 08-8616, reboot.
    This will "wipe" everything...

Re: 8508A, pops building circuit breaker

Another tech called me Thursday, had the same issue popping the breaker. Told him to replace the IH
    board. Fixed it! That's 2 in a month. ;)

    Re: e-studio 2508a

Try replacing the memory on the system board. On various other TABS machines, I've seen some whack-a-doodle problems
solved by replacing the memory card.

Re: mechine need xerox ativation code

If you use the activation portal, type in the S/N is should generate the code, if the machine is on their site.

    Re: Toshiba ES-5005ac jamming

First couple times I saw that on the 25xx series, it always amazed me how that spring could get all whack-a-doodle inside there,
and not rip of the transfer belt.

I'm kind of "old school"...I cut my teeth using old school textronics O-scopes. I've thought about the newer digital ones
but haven't felt the urge to get one yet.
I use to use the o-scope like a...

    8508A, pops building circuit breaker

Went with another tech on this one. Said the machine has had a C471, thermal fuse popped.

    the machine...

Re: The End of Xerox's ASP program

We "got into" xerox over a year ago. Boy, when I got into this business in the 80's, Xerox was "the king".
They are so screwed up, they have no idea what they are doing. Banking only on their name.

Re: GSN lock & bus station question

We were told by Xerox, our dealership is authorized to have ONE ID, and all the techs have to use that ID.
Each tech has their own TCN number, but the login for the PWS is assigned one number.
