Re: M605 - Jams First job of the day

Rock on. I have seen static cause some pretty weird sh*t, but YMMV. Good luck. :-)

Re: M605 - Jams First job of the day

What's the situation with static? Since you've been in a lower temp/lower humidity state that can play a part.

I can't say that I have seen the sticky solenoid issue on any 605's (yet).

Only when I am touring and spending time in airports, and even then I prefer Caribou. At home it's Cameron's or Kaldi's.

Not something I can legally share.

The IMG file can be obtained from GSN. Unfortunately, if you do not have a GSN account I'm not sure how you would get the image.

    Sorry.
  5. Re: What is the dumbist customer comment/question you've heard?

Customer: We just had someone go back into our office and he wants to use the copier, but it won't turn on. He checked the circuit breaker for the outlet, and the cord is plugged in, but when he...

Makes sense. More of a mountain guy myself, which doesn't explain why I live in Missouri, but hey, nothing really makes sense so there's that. ;-)

Must be a good company. I've bounced around. Not much, but I have a few different outfits under my belt. Mostly small. A couple of national outfits, but I don't fare well in a corporate atmosphere.

Re: Xerox ColorQube 8700 - Print quality issues

Looks like a wiper issue to me. If you have a tilt gear or process drive issue you should hear some chattering or clunking.

Yep. The key is having a place to spread out. If you can do that you're golden. If not, it takes a little longer. :p

Re: HP LaserJet CC519A 59.FO error

A CM3530 with a 59.F0 error most likely (better than 95% of the time in my experience) will need a fuser drive assembly replaced. We've seen this issue more times than I care to count.

    A good,...

Re: The End of Xerox's ASP program

Another part of it is that Xerox is shifting their service to a different model. For ASP's It was originally based on the Tektronix printer service model. Somewhat different beast.
