i did replace the part. tested and worked well while on site. guess i will know in a few days if it holds up as it should. i do believe it will.

i agree......we are a lexmark dealership and this is what we have to use now. i believe they removed the original site.
run away from these machines..... especially because the toner drum unit is one unit. and they don't work well for much of anything. just my thoughts.
have you tried rubber rejuvenator on the rollers?
due to the age of the machine i would greatly consider replacing it with a new copier. as opposed to spending money to fix it. from what i know some parts are no longer available.
i would drop the DPI before i tried anything else... from 600 to maybe 300. customer is pretty bored if they are actually timing the speed...
