Good luck. that's just how they are.

A firmware upgrade could take up to 1 hour, waiting for the machine to boot back up in 08 mode, after the firmware. I'm glad those machines are gone. =^..^=

    [Jamming] Re: 8 1/2 x 11 duplex jams

You may have paper scraps in the registration inlet, that are difficult to remove:

Misfeeds duplex J3209, J3101, J3120. Jam clears but returns. Paper jam is difficult to recover from the lower...

There are about a million things that can cause EB50's. I think that I documented it pretty well in this thread here:

    Re: Toshiba Studio 2540 CE20, CE40, C970

Sure, you'll still get a C970 ... and those bars crossfeed will have become magenta, or cyan, or yellow, depending on where you move that charge unit.

That is going to be the main problem. Any...

    Re: Toshiba Studio 2540 CE20, CE40, C970

If you think it's the drum, swap that drum to another unit, say magenta, and see if the quality issue becomes magenta.

What did you not understand about swapping the primary charge unit to another...

    What's you're precise paper size?

    8K is 10.51in x 15.28in or 260mm x 368mm
08-4100 set to 144 should have worked only until you run out of paper for the first time. It is reset automatically...

    Re: Toshiba Studio 2540 CE20, CE40, C970

The C970 is almost always caused by a shorting primary charge unit, which will coincide with your image quality issue ... so black. Often the post that the spring or grid attach to snaps off, but the...

    Re: Cpu fan error f400

It's unlikely to be a power supply. I'd say your best chances are with the system board.

There's an odd chance that you've got a dead short or pinched wire in another component that's running off...
  20. Re: no more crawling on floor looking for wall outlet
