  1. Re: Savin 5055 / Ricoh 6054, "Replace Fusing Belt Unit"

Correction, you made a rather rude attack on the members of this website. The childish behavior that I have noticed is on your part. You claimed that you have "been doing this longer than most of...

Just be sure it is the M4 for the C4503/C5503/C6003 and not the M3 which is for the slower models.

That would be the Giga-Bit network card. You might still be able to order it directly from Ricoh EDP Code 416733. Or you could try one of the used equipment wholesalers in Southern California.

Re: Ricoh mp301 will not print from computer

I don't know on these entry level models but on the larger model you can clear it with SP 5801-011 NCS Network Control System.
  7. Re: Document Feeder not sensing document in feeder

When a document is inserted into the ARDF you should hear a beep tone alerting you that the document was properly inserted. I am not hearing that in your video.

Re: Ricoh mp301 will not print from computer

Check SP 5985-001. It should be set to 1.

Did you check to see if IEEE 802.11 is enabled in User Tools? If it is disable it.

[Misc] Re: RICOH AFICIO MP C3001 Image problem

To be clearer, is it long edge feed or short edge feed? Portrait and landscape refer to how you hang a picture on a wall.

Being capable of good reporting and actually practicing the same are two totally different concepts. You need to read Unfreedom of the Press by Mark Levin.

  17. Re: Lanier LD238C/Ricoh Aficio 2238C Opinions wanted please

It is a counter that is only reset with a new oil supply unit. Any way cooking oil would only create a lot of smoke.
  18. Re: Lanier LD238C/Ricoh Aficio 2238C Opinions wanted please

When the counter for the oil unit reaches 0, it won't be a quality issue. It will be a stopped working issue.

Actual launch date was January 26, 2004.

Machine is years beyond assured parts support date.

Your having extra toner is pointless if you don't have any replacements for the Fusing Oil Unit.

You have a short somewhere. Now get out your multi-meter and point to point diagram and start trying to trace it. You might start with the power leads going to the display.
