    Sharp Service & Parts Manuals

I can't think of a single use for them, but I thought maybe somebody else might want them.

At the time a lot of folks had already been using PDF manuals ... but I had a pretty good system: I'd...

    Re: Plastic Cards

I haven't had anyone try to print ID cards on a Konica Minolta, but I do have some experience with a customer doing these Identicard branded pre-perforated cards on a Kyocera FalconIII.

    Identicard...

    Re: Toshiba oblique printing

There are a couple of different reasons why you might get paper skew:

    1) You may have a corner of paper folded over somewhere in the stack of paper, causing it to be higher at the front or back....

    Re: C454e print rubbish

It's most likely a PostScript error. Somebody is sending print data in a language that the printer cannot identify, so it prints out the commands exactly the way they came in.

    Given the choice, I...
  10. Re: 3551ci - a print error has occurred, add paper to tray 1

I know we've already covered this ... but are you SURE that the paper size is not hard-set at LTR? It should be on Auto(Inch).

That's the only reason I know that the paper size would not...

[Jamming] Re: Konica Minolta c6100 Jam??

I think that I'd put my meter on the motor leads and check to see that you're getting 24vdc (I think it's 24vdc?). If you have voltage then yes, the motor is bad. If you don't have voltage it could...

Here are a couple of not-too-expensive tools, that very few techs have:

  13. Re: 3551ci - a print error has occurred, add paper to tray 1

    Very precise analysis.

I've replaced 15 or 20 0f those rear cassette guides, usually schools. You'll get an enduser that decides they'll bowling for a strike, with a full ream of paper. The impact...

With the paperclip, if you load STMT-R paper it will still detect as LTR.

  18. Re: 3551ci - a print error has occurred, add paper to tray 1

So do your trays display the correct size?

It's common for a small plastic tab on the rear cassette guide to break. When that happens, the left side of the guide raises up, and incorrectly...
