    I had a corrupt CF card. Power surge flashed the existing CF. I replaced with a CF from another working unit. I'd prefer not to shotgun more than i already have. Trying to identify a procedure for error : C-C104

    Root Cause
    C-C104 error code at power ON.

    Unable to make any selections in Service Mode.
    Display stays at Konica Minolta when attempting a trouble reset.
    Unable to clear the code after the machine reinitializes.

    Workaround/Fix
    PROBABLE CAUSES:

    1. Printer control board has the incorrect firmware and the installed fax kit and/or HDD are locking up Service Mode.

    To correct perform the following:

    a. Physically remove the fax kit and HDD.

    b. Enter Service Mode and set soft switch 32-1 to 0.

    c. Perform ISW and select the correct file for model, 601 starts with 57BA and 751 starts with 57AA.

    d. Set soft switch 32-1 back to 1 after completing.



    2. Original firmware is loaded on a machine with a PRCB that has a replacement (new-style) processor. Even hough the ISW process finished, the C-C104 code is indicated.
    Use this procedure to recover after installing the wrong firmware:
    a. Turn the Sub-Power switch OFF, but leave the Main Power switch ON.
    b. Enter Service Mode (press the UTILITY key while turning the Sub-Power switch ON).
    c. Press “Trouble Reset”; then press “OK”.
    d. Go back into Service Mode and reload the correct firmware.
    e. Turn the Main Power switch OFF/ON and verify the firmware version.
