Went out to one yesterday to help a tech. Was said to constant jamming for months . It would jam right at the entry of the finisher. I looked up at the photo sensor at the entry of the finisher and it look foggy. Cleaned sensor and now it's jam free. Tech called later that afternoon and still no jams.

I had a machine with internal finisher which sometimes gave POD2_S.

Turned out the plastic inlet guide of the punchunit was uneven. Production error i guess.

I had to disassemble it and with a bit of fine sandpaper make it smooth again...

    No more jams after that.

The old inner finishers didn't have the mylar strips that are included in the new ones. Tech pub about adding the mylar strips
to prevent jams. Have had many of these that needed the mylar strips installed on the inner finisher.
