    Virgo (4111-5141) Web Stalls

Hey all, I have seen this issue a few times as these machines age. Hopefully the attached bulletin will save someone a few parts...and a few grey hairs.

    Re: Virgo (4111-5141) Web Stalls

We had lots of problems with noise and web stalling with the mx4141/5141

Found out after a few interventions, that the new fusers we had placed during maintenance started stalling.

Problem was with the fusers themselves, not the machine.

After bending a little axle from the webcleaning gears, noise and stalling went away.

These were brand new fusers btw, and we only had the problem with the MX511FU.

    Probably manufacturing errors.

Yes, I would say at least 80% have been Virgo 2 machines (4151-5141)

If you try to move the webcleaning by hand, and this doestn work, means that the fuser isnt right.

If you try this on a fuser that is correctly manufactured, you can move the webcleaning fairly easy...
