New memory chips for the MX 4071

The new Sharp machines are using a eMMC drive instead of the Msata. Does anyone know if there is an adapter to program them?

The image here is not the type of chip used in the machine. I did notice the board is made by Sharp. I am not sure if it is proprietary or not.

We're looking for the same information as we're just now getting into cloning SD cards and hoping to do the mSata and eMMC cards as well. I've tried using an mSata to USB adapter but that didn't work for the eMMC card. Both my Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) machines would see the adapter but not the eMMC card. They are able to see the "older" (MX-6070v in this case) mSata card.

I have been able to read the emmc card using a specific msata reader and external enclosure using raw copy. I have not had the chance to write one and see if it works because I dont have any replacements as of yet to try it with. I have ordered a couple half height msata drives and am gonna try one to see what happens. Ill let you guys know what I find.

I will note that the emmc cards are just a couple millimeters longer then a standard half height msata card.

Would be interesting to see if using a msata worked though.

Would you be able to share the hardware/adapter you're using to read the cards?

Any recommendations for the target eMMC chip to be used on these machines? Copied to an Msata but not go / no fit
