Usb printer port is not detected

We use 2nos of Sharp Mx-4100n, i used them to print successful on Saturday then shut them down on evening. I power it on monday for use but none of the two can be detected by computer, i tried using another cable, another system, nothing works. Its more like a surprise. i tried sim-88 to initialize total restore, restore successful but nothing change. Only LAN port is working.. Can anyone help me pleaaasssee.. I've contacted our technician, he's also surprise such could happened.. the most surpirse is TWO MACHINES AT THE SAME TIME.... Anyone have idea what could be the problem, and why is two same machine develop same fault at same time.. what could be the solution?

I got the same problem a few years ago. I load a new f/w etc... At the end I found out it was USB port disabled . It is a shame to say that but yes I forgot to check it first
