MX-6580 L8-20 code

Techs have updated firmware, replaced both Main Control and MFP Scanner Mother pwb's, as per the Service Manual. I've scanned this Forum for the code, but only found 'older' models that reflected language referring to the laser control pwb. This machine is a new install with less than a 1K prints. Anyone run across this issue?

Tried replacing the LSU assy. Still getting the L8-20. Has anyone seen this issue before?!

I was getting those L8-20 on a mx6240n. Tried replacing boards, hdd, sd card, power supply, ....Then I noticed that this code came only after plugging the network back on.Sharp sent me different firmwares to try, and finally we got one that took care of our problem. Machine was new when that happened, and it took about 2 years of L8-20 codes before it was solved . (Sharp had extended the warranty period)Trouble was that it could be a couple of months for the code to come back...Keep us posted on your findings.
