    Re: Sharp MX-M904 Still Good?

You must install a bypass tray, the MX-MF11 since you have the MX-LC13 attached to the machine.

    Re: Sharp MX-M904 Still Good?

Wait, I do have the bypass tray on the MX-LC13. It's mounted on the top of the two trays. I just don't have the door or the transport for the main unit. So when paper feeds from tray 5 or 6 it stops on the feed rollers in the main unit because there is no upper transport with idlers to push down on the feed tires. Paper just lays in the feed tires and declares a jam. I need the upper part of that section. Is there a part number for it ? or does it actually come with the bypass tray ? Either way I need one.

Let me know what I can do to get one if you have any idea. I am looking around other places that may have a parts machine I can get it from.

See the pictures attached. The finisher in the picture was replaced with the Fn-22 and the Fn-21 was removed.

The picture of the right side of the main unit shows no upper transport over the entrance feed rollers. This is what I need.

    Thanks

You may need the LCT Mounting kit (RB16), if I remember correctly.

I believe that is the one, but you should check with a current tech/dealer - I've been retired 3.5 years without access to latest bulletins.

    Re: Sharp MX-M904 Still Good?

Ok, I finally got the machine all installed and it has been running good. I had some issues with the finisher but I got that resolved.

Now, I need to use the Raw copy tool and an SD card to copy the on board SD card. I want to make sure I do it correctly.

Can you give me a step by step instruction on this?

Do I leave the original SD card in the machine and use the USB port with a laptop or do I remove the SD card and plug it in the laptop to copy it?

Do I need to have my blank SD card and the Original SD card plugged in the laptop at the same time?

Or do I copy the original image to the laptop first and then write it to the blank SD card?

I just want to be clear on this before I do something wrong.

If you can give me step by step instructions that would be great.

Also, I am guessing this is a regular SD card and not a Micro SD card? I ordered a Regular size SanDisk 16GB class 10 SD card.

    Thanks in advance.
