MX-C402SC id card scanning though the document feeder to the pc

I know it is possible to scan id cards in the copy mode through the document feeder. But, is it possible scan id cards though the document feeder to a pc via Sharpdesk or to a folder? When the customer tries to scan to the pc it states that function is not possible in this mode.

Checking the operation manual there are procedures for scanning card shot thru the doc feeder. So I would think that it should do it. I don't have one of the SC doc feeds in shop to verify it. Can check the next time I'm at one.
