    MX-FN27N Finisher

    I installed a new
MX-FN27 N finisher on a MX-M3050 and out of the box it would not staple the top rear single staple. All the other staple positions worked. I took it back out of the machine and took the back side off and found a plastic piece blocking the stapler from reaching the rear staple position. it looked like it fell out of position on the finisher but going thru the parts manual 4 times I cannot find any piece that looks like this. The finisher is working perfectly without this piece. FN27 (2).jpg

the diagram shows the part at a strange angle.

Keep it in your pocket, until they call for jamming......if they don't.... they don't

I had a run of finishers where 5 out of 6 had that piece laying in the bottom of the finisher or stuck where it shouldn't have been. Not to bad to replace just take the top off the finisher and snap it back in.
