    sharp mx7040n message on the screen

    there is a msg on the screen
    "could not access the accounting server .contact your admin"
    i have admin access can some one tell how to diss able the msg and have regular copy screen please?
    i cant up load a pic for some reason

    DISABLE?

    YOU NEED TO FIND OUT WHY it isn't finding that server!

    did you change anything?
    did they?
    did they install new router or server permissions? (if they did they need to fix it.. not you)

    removing the message doesn't FIX a DAMN thing! it is ONLY a Band Aid! FIX IT!

    Someone probably had a Papercut type software running and no longer needs it. Also, when you service a machine with Papercut it's handy to turn it off when you work on it. (Just remember to turn it back on and select the "use this server" underneath Enable. )

    It's a bit different on some models. You want to find External Accounting Application then disable. Some machines it's in OSA Settings, other's its buried in System Settings, Applications, External Accounting Application. That's just off the top of my head, I'm sure its a bit different but hopefully gets you somewhere.

    it back off lease, im not servicing it, im trying to re set to factory default setting so we can wholesale it, or move it down the line, my wholesaler's wont take it if it does not come to ready,
    sorry for the miss leading post.

    Log into settings as admin, go to 'external accounting' and disable it, reboot, et voila
