Sharp MX2610n firmware update

Can anyone tell me where to get, or send me the latest firmware for the sharp MX-2610n.

The version I currently have installed is ver. 07.00.A1 and would like to update the machine to the latest.

what problems are you having that require FW update?

best place to get it is from the Sharp Tech support portal

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your reply. The main issue I am having is scanning to a network folder on Windows server 2019/Windows 10 machines. I understand the issue is because the mfp only supports SMBv1 which is now disabled on newer verisons of Windows.
I have a workaround in place but was hoping a firmware update would take care of that.

Aside from that I was also interested in doing the update just as a good practice, generally from my experience firmware updates are ususally a good thing. I'm an onsite tech with no ties to sharp, do you know if can I sign up for the sharp portal?

I have the same problem. I contacted the customer services and they asked me to send the printer to the dealer to install a new firmware.

First production version released (in 2015) was 0820A100. If you have a version 7, you really have a dinosaur!!! Unless it has a security kit installed? I would suggest a service tech do this just so you are assured it is done correctly. And yes, the only spot to get firmware is on the Sharp portal. As a qualified service tech I could lose my job for sharing the firmware, manuals, etc.
