    Umm... what happens when you click administrator login on the top right hand corner of your image?

    As an example.... your machine IP is 192.168.0.212

    Browse to http://192.168.0.212/service_login.html

    password = service

    Scroll to bottom of page and click "Administration Settings"

    Click "Execute" button by "All"

    Re: MX-3640 unable to access network settings

    Thanks guys, I will try logging in on the webpage with the ip address given to the mfp. The client is on a 192.168.0.1, apparently the IT person changed the ip to 192.168.1.1. I am on my way back to the client, I will keep you posted.

    Re: MX-3640 unable to access network settings

    I had this happen once and ended up having to wipe the hard drive on a computer using diskpart and make a new SD card and then bring the machine back up from like a double SD/HDD failure using em update and then installing all firmware again. Lots of work but it is a sure fix. If you need instructions in detail...PM me.

    I just installed a new SD card and a new hdd and the mfp is still in the same condition. I may order the mfpc board and see if that resolves the issue.

    Re: MX-3640 unable to access network settings

    did you try entering the service web page and follow the directions I had posted earlier?

    We have some machines in settings where we don't want them to have access to most of the settings, and we limit that access through the service web page.

    The display looks just like the one you posted.

    Thanks, Spanky. The issue I am having logging into the webpage is the IP address of the copier has been changed, they are on a 192.168.0.1, but it has been changed to 192.168.1.1, so it will not recognize the device. I tried to change the ip address of my laptop though the network sharing but to no avail ( I could be overlooking something), but, I did not put /service login at the end of the IP address of the copier (as you have instructed, my fault). Before I order the mfpc, I will get my IT person give it a whirl and see what we can do. I appreciate the help, Spanky.

    So my roadblock is the changed IP address of the copier as it does not communicate with the network as it should due to the fact it is on a different octet.
