    Question MX-3070N "Please Wait"

First thing is first. This machine was initially rebooting AND has DSK installed.

The primary issue of rebooting was resolved with an emergency firmware update.
    Version MX-FR52U
    Phoenix_0780Zc00_19041000 (April 2019)

MFP Boot! But can't make copies (gets to ready, but doesn't scan), no 22-6 printout, and clicking settings gives me "please wait"-forever.

I swapped HDD, but still had same issue. I think it's the mSata SSD, or the SCN MFP PWB (God forbid).

I haven't had this issue with this model w/ DSK installed. Tried replacing msata with good non-dsk mfp mSata but takes me the the hidden menu for the CN update mode.

    Any advice?

Re-write the msata before you put it into the unit if you have a DSK image would be ideal but if you are getting to the the screen you mentioned you should be able to update the firmware from there pretty easily using a usb with the standard DSK firmware.

    Good luck

The new models don’t have SD cards. If it’s booting up and coming to ready could be scn/mfp pwb . Although we’ve had issues with dsk rom chip and/or the little pwb that plugs into scn/mfp pwb.

I don't have that DSK image. I have non-dsk image backed up. But to be clear I DID THE CN DIPSWITCH EMERGENCY FIRMWARE UPDATE.
MFP is booting fine. Just that it doesn't want to get to settings. It does the "Please wait" when I click settings. MFP doesn't want to scan to hard drive, or make copies in the sense that the Document Tray lifts, but doesn't digitally scan the document for the MFP to COPY.

Are you talking about the "Flash PWB"?

I'm going to call Sharp. Ill update this forum later. Hopefully I can get it resolved without being an expensive board.

Its probably not the dsk roms if its booting up, most likely its either the hard drive or scn/mfp pwb. Im leaning towards the pwb. I just thought of one more thing it could be as I was typing this. Try doing the end of lease something could be corrupt that firmware cant fix. Ive have that fix a few issues with the phoenix machines.

Just thought of one more thing to check.
Look for paper clips on dspf pwb that could cause a weird issue like that.

we had one of these that was doing a similar thing...not being able to get to webpage and would not take any account code. formatted the hard drive and reinstalled everything and that resolved our issue.
