    Question Sharp MX-XX71 Series

    Good Afternoon Gentlemen,

Has anyone noticed any differences between Sharp MX-XX70 series and 71 series? Like warmup time, or first copy out time? Service manuals from MX-3070N all the way through MX-3071 say the same things. 7.3 seconds through DSPF in B&W and 10 seconds for color.

However, I had a MX-3070N in the shop, and wanted to test this theory out, only had a MX-6071 w/inner finisher to test against. But, the MX-3070N had 3 copies out before the 6071 had one copy out. Energy save settings, and power management settings were set the same. Here is the link to the video.

Do you have access to the Sharp Handy Guides?
For us UK Sharp dealers (and probably some others) we have the following quick specs:

By the looks of it, they are practically the same.

    Sorry, forgot the warmup times:

MX-**70 is 10 seconds or less...

    Re: Sharp MX-XX71 Series

Sharp USA does not have a handy guide for the 71 series.. So I will quote from the SM instead.

First Copy out time (MX-5070/6070V) OC in Mono 4.7 secs in Color 6.7 secs, DSPF in Mono 7.3 secs in Color 10 secs.

First Copy out time (MX-5071/6071) OC in Mono 4.7 secs in Color 6.7 secs, DSPF in Mono 7.3 secs in Color 10 secs.

Exactly the same times, but as you can see in my video, much different first copy out times.
