Sharp MX-6070V with the COVID Curse
This MX-6070V has been idle for several months, I guess suffering from COVID. Customer fired-up and getting a L4-35 fan motor trouble. Fan works in diagnostics...any thoughts before ordering the PCU?
L4-35 Fusing cooling fan R trouble

Cause
Fusing cooling fan trouble.
PCU PWB trouble.
Connection trouble of the connector and the harness
Check & Remedy Use SIM6-2 to check that the fan is actually rotating.
Replace the fusing cooling fan.
Replace the PCU PWB.
Check connection of the connector and the harness.

LOL... COIVID, I wish it was that easy to make a new sale! Searched the site could not find any bulletins pertaining to your code. Maybe a new fan? before PCU? I know it works in diagnostics, but maybe there is a little drag on the motor possibly?

Phoenix series / feedback from the field:
- What can be a possible cause for the error display L4-35 be?
- Paper clip on the DSPF PCB
- L4-35 display although the "Fusing cooling fan" is OK.
- Short circuit on DSPF-PWB causes this error message.
Response level TPM feedback:
In one case there was a paper clip on the DSPF-PWB, which caused this error display.
Removing the bracket from the circuit board fixed the error.

Update on the COVID curse L4-35 error. Replacing the PCU board fixed the problem.

had the same problem and new PCU pwb fixed issue also
