    Sharp mxm 654N

    Mortgage company doing a ton of scanning,and scanning glass, feeder,getting covered in toner dust.Originals coming from HP printer printer.anyone run into this? Thanks Dave

    is the HP not fusing toner properly?

    Had this once , the hp was running on compatible toner & they made copy of those pages in the MFP. Causing the document feeder black toner dust.

    I agree with Demon, generic toner in the HP causing it. You might get lucky and change the paper type or fuser temp in the HP to trick it but they should just buy better toner or pay for the Sharp service call.

    Thanks for everyone’s input,he is using generic with the HP , it’s kinda weird though you can’t smudge it with your hand. They “customers” give you that are you kidding look.I’m sure everyone has seen that.

    All of our title companies have adf's that do this. I think it may just be the sheer volume.
