Sharp MX-M365-565 charger grids dirty

Hi Everyone,<br>we are seeing more and more frequent lines from charger grids getting dirty. we are running OEM supplies, the machines are going 20k-40k and the grids need cleaned/replaced.&nbsp; Alot of paper dust in machines.&nbsp; we do the Maintenance when called for, not extending ,clicking lights..<br><br>is there a better way to clean grids than alcohol, are using foam Q-tips? does a good job but may come back in month..&nbsp;<br><br>copiers are running 8k-20k per month?<br><br>thanks for your help..

Over time, we see the grids getting sort of a scorched look to them, but only at PM time is it bad enough to cause a problem, so no need to try and clean. Are yours getting dirty with toner? or paper dust? or the scorch look that won't come off with IPA?

I use 250 grit or 400 grit emory cloth, don't use anything larger than 250 or it will damage the grid. Been doing it for years and it works great.

It looks like both toner and Mostly paper Dust,, I have one machine that is in a dusty environment that is bad, and is a heavy runner..

i just never remember this bad on grids?
