Black Discharge Lamp Scattering Prevention Sheet is most likely damaged or not installed correctly.

    Re: MX6070N blk pulling developer

So everything looked good yesterday when I went back and there was no buildup on the drum as I showed earlier. All I did earlier in the week was a good cleaning of the rear of the unit and made sure the blanking lamp was clean. Did not see anything to protect the lamp from toner dusting. I will have to look for the modification and get that installed.

    Have a great day

Hi there what i have seen on these Cr4 colour machines is that the filter on the front right hand side of the under the side door gets cloged causing the toner to puff out of the dev boxes causing a toner buildup on the drum as well vacum this filter and remove and vacum the dv box filters as well that should stop the toner puffing.

    Re: MX6070N blk pulling developer

I had this happen on multiple colors on this model

turns out it was the tube unit from the toner to the dv (apparently from what our local sharp DM says) they have a milar inside that causes condensation and can cause the dv to clump thus making it pull extra developer.
