You could probably get a whole working used machine for the price of the laser. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Good luck, its an 18 year old copier. Like blackcat said, check facebook market place, offerup, craigslist, etc, because it's a dinosaur and chances are you will have to buy the whole machine.. I did love the simplicity of that copier, very few moving parts and some of our 237/257 made it to almost a million clicks +. Let the client know it's time to upgrade if they have had it this long as parts such a laser units are obsolete.
I have a new one if you still need it. Cheap.
