Google Workplace / Gmail
OK here is what I know...
Sharp MX2640 configured to scan to email via SMTP2GO account.
Machine has been email successfully for approx 2 years
Client now reports they are not getting emails scanned to their email addresses
Client uses Google Workplace for their email services.
I can scan successfully to email to Yahoo.com, Live.com, gmail.com
I can scan to Google workplace (our dealership uses Google SMTP via workplace just like the client)
Emails sent to clients address leave machine successfully but never arrive in their inbox. Emails are not in SPAM.
Using the Google email log search the emails are not found
SMTP2GO server shows the messages arriving and being processed but never delivered.
I can find no rules or filters in the clients Admin console that would filter out and/or block these emails.
Any suggestions welcome.
TIA

Re: Google Workplace / Gmail
Been around and about w/ Google about sending emails from a machine, and they insist that the only reliable service is setting up SMTP relay service thru smtp-relay.gmail.com, being sure to use SSL/TLS protocols, no dynamic IP's, and port 25, 465, or 587 will do. What I tell clients is "Why would you want to route your emails 45 times around the world prior to arriving in someone's email box, with every opportunity possible for something to go wrong, or for a bad actor to intercept it? Best & safest is to set up your own private email server, or use one of the small web-hosting services for a couple bucks/month. Hate to say it, but Google & Microsoft suck.

If they are using G suite you have to activate the Less secure APS in their G suite settings.
