I don't suppose that you know what kind of machine that you're working on? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Re: NG codes

I have no idea if I am reading the manual correctly but this might help. Are the scanned dacuments over 999 pages?

    Communication report main code
    NG90 XXXX
After reservation by re-operation of document filing, conversion for image send cannot be made.

    Communication report sub code 2
    64
In resending data of document file, during conversion for resending, the number of IMS management pages exceeds the upper limit (999). (IT occurs in OSA Scan to FTP also, resulting in memory over.) Resend OSAScanToFTP

    Thanks for the info

Just for future reference are you finding this in the regular service manual?

In the Service Manual for the fax module. A stupid place to put scanning errors if I an reading it right but with wording like "Scan to FTP" I am certain that is scanning over a network.
